poor flexion in fetlock...youngster bucks when canters?

help x I bought a horse 4 weeks ago and the bucking when asking for canter is manageable and understandable being only 5 1/2 yr old , but recently he had his shoes taken off as i was worried about the state of his feet and the farrier said he has poor flexion in his rear fetlocks??? and that he should be ok if not overworked??? has anyone come across this and could this be the reason he bucks in canter?? I was hoping to progress him into jumping? any advice please....all welcome x

As two above have said also I would get your vet to check this flexion problem esp if you want to jump and then your vet can advise on your problem

Yup, get your vet out. Has he had a pre-purchase vetting?

checked his saddle...perfect fit apparrently x cheers x
