my poor little dog has been poorly all week with raised temperature and sickness. Vets have taken bloods on Friday but think she has a virus. I hope that they are right she hasn't got any better. I am taking her back tomorrow as I think she is dehydrated. Its horrible that I cant make her better she is such a gently soul.

Is she not drinking at all?You can syringe (without the needle on of course) water into her cheek...if you've no syringe you can soak a cotton pad with water and hold it inside her cheek and gently squeezewater in her mouth.( don't let her swallow the cotton wool!)
Or. Put a little evaporated milk in her water to encourage her to drink( the latter a trick used by greyhound trainers to rehydrate dogs fast who won't drink)
Hope she's better soon...id definitely take her in today if she's still poorly,these little dogs can go down so fast.
