poor horsey is now hopping lame

brought horsey in today, still uncomfortable on front but no heat or raised pulse. After standing for a while he couldn't walk on either front not just the one that was pricked. I'm absolutely gutted.....called vet out immediately and the bottom line is he's going to be xrayed on Weds before farrier comes in the afternoon. He's on antibiotics for 5 days and pain relief. I just hope its only abcesses, probably in both front feet, although I'm glad vet suggested x-rays so at least I can get some remedial shoeing and finally get him sorted

I just feel like crying because I am getting nowhere fast with this lovely horse and I really need some good luck after the last 12months I've had
