Poor Horsey

My horse had what looked like a small cut on his leg, but as the swelling didn't go down I got the vet out.

Turns out the cut goes down to the bone and they want to xray it to see if there's a chip to the bone. I'm hoping there's not, he isn't lame on it today so hopefully all will be fine.

Has anyone else experienced chipped bones.???

Yes; and they are a friggin pain! Take ages to recover and the ones I've known who have had surgery haven't been quite right afterwards but have still been good enough for hacking.

Oh dear, hope there's no bone chip and it heals up OK.
