Poor JR :( RIP Rose (and anyone in America...)

Another story from Alaqua rescue in Florida!
They rescued Rose as one of 15 horses abandoned by their owner to survive on their own in the woods. They managed to find and catch 5 of them, one of them being Rose. She was starving and pregnant and went into liver failure and died yesterday

RIP Rose, sleep well.

So poor JR, her 2 week old foal has no mummy
They are bottle feeding him at the moment but were looking for maybe a still nursing mare or another orphaned foal to keep with him but I'm not sure if they found anyone yet.
