Poor Jube

The horse that I had on loan for 3yrs (Jubilee) was put to sleep today after being found in the field with colic this morning.

She was 29 so had a good long life

She had cushings for the past 3yrs and so had been retired. She was a real sweety and I would never have got Ellie if it hadn't been for her. She taught me loads and we had such wonderful fun together. She could be really naughty but was never mean and she would really look after you. Well apart from the time she gave me concusion fast trotting across the moors (she was an ex pacer) after falling out of canter. I have never been shook so fast and for so long in all my life

but I couldn't stop her for laughing. What a dreadful headache I had

She was a funny little thing but such a sweetheart

I'm sorry for your loss, she sounds like quite she was quite a character. I rode a pacer once, I still remember how it feels!

Thank you. I am really sad but she was ready to go I think. I shall always be so grateful to her for building up my confidence and giving me so much fun.

It is the second stable in and that is probably the same paint that was on when you were there

Those photos were taken about a year into her being diagnosed with Cushings. As I say she was a strange pony but had a heart of gold.
