I found Winergy Ventilate very good. I only used it short term to help my old mare get over a respiratory infection, but it really did help and is suitable for long term use too.

Ask your vet about putting her on inhaled steroids (beclomethasone like asthmatics use). It is super cheap compared to other RAO drugs and the only thing that really works.

I have no experience at all re inhaled steroids but check with the vet first as I know giving a horse steroids can bring on an attack of laminitis. Don't know if inhaled is just as bad. Best to be safe.

Ventilate is £40.00 per tub, very good stuff though, takes a while to get in the system 2-3 weeks

I'll 2nd the Winergy Ventilate, excellent stuff although i only pay £33 a tub, lasts 2-3 months for a 12.2 pony as he dosen't need a big dose. Only took about a week to get into his system as well.
