Think we need to buy shares with our vet!!What with Spooks and all his wierd noises etc I am awaiting my ever expanding bill from the vet- We are now investigating the possibility of a Pollen Allergy - someone recommended me feeding him piriton (or similar) for a few weeks and see if that stopped him - anyone ever heard of doing this? Also has anyone ever used those nose nets to any success?!

Also at home we have 2 cats, and a catflap - at night we have a strange cat come in through our flap and kick 10 shades of s*** out of our cats (that is the worse noise in the world to wake up to at 3am!!) a month ago, 'Evil cat' as he is now known, bit Austins tail and caused a massive infection so that was a trip to the vet for antibiotics etc, and then this weekend, we heard the cats scrapping downstairs and found Mog the next morning with a huge gash on the inside of her 'hock' I could see tendons and ligaments all moving around in there so off we go again to the vet for her to be knocked out and stitched up - Poor Mogger now has to wear a cone on her head for 12 days until her stitches are out and has her whole back leg vetwrapped up - not a happy cat!! On top of that the bloody thing broke our catflap trying to get in when we had locked it!! So we have now had to screw a plank of wood over as we can't afford to keep patching our cats up!!

God help that chuffing cat when I get my hands on him - Dont worry, I have no intention of hurting him, but plan on giving him a quick dunk in some cold water to teach him that our house is not his house, and tying a note on his collar for his owners telling them to have an ounce of sense and responsibility and get it neutered so it isn't to territorial any more.

Look at poor mogger!!

And a few gratuitous pictures of the spooks meister himself - the battle of the waistline commences - anyone thing I am losing that battle already?! (please excuse the fact that his back is dyed red - the colour in his saddle cloth runs when he sweats!!)

Mogger looks very sorry for himself - but cats heal so quickly (unlike our bank balances).

Bad things, cat flaps. I used to have one when I lived in the Big City and never knew what would come through it next. I was watching telly one evening and heard an ungodly commotion at the back door and investigated to find my tabby mog hauling a huge and very alive magpie through the flap. The magpie got free and flew around the house until I cornered it in the bathroom and got it in a towel out the window. Same cat used to also bring in live mice and (worst of all) rats and then let them go in the house.

Poor Mogger, bless him, hope he's better soon.

Same problem our end - mum has 14 cats (yep that's 14) but she does have the space on the farm before everyone gets worried! We've had to have a petfence put round the place so they all stay safe from the road and stray. This doesn't howeve stop the bu*ger from next door coming over and into the house, spraying up the curtains and picking fights (same bitten tail saga as you). If we could catch him the owners said we could have him neutered but you can't get near it. We also find ourselves with 4 more kittens yesterday as the sodding thing raped one of the little girls the week she was due to go to the vet to be spayed. We are being responsible but you can't control the invaders! One night a badger forced its way in, and that noise really was unbelievable!

Get well soon Mogger, meow x
