so that's no. 3 on medication for arthritis

. The older two I can understand, molly is a retriever and ancient, so its a given, honey is a lab and we overjumped her as a pup, so a given.
Murphy is only 5 and a mutt, one day a while ago was non weight bearing, then got dramatically better very quickly, saw the vet on sat and x-rayed today (limping intermittendly) and has osteo arthritis of the carpametacarpal joints. Probably due to trauma of some kind
So probably lifelong metacam. Bah, Poor murphy! Got to be rested for two weeks then reviewed, is feeling a bit sorry for himself this evening!

Poor Murphy at least its getting sorted now, so hopefully the pain will ease up now

Poor thing. I always thought crossbreds were terribly hardy, my mum's 14yo heinz is only stiffening up slightly in the past year, and he was a rescue so don't know his early history.
That metacam must taste nice, P licked hers off the end of the syringe when she was taking it after her op.
