Suffering several broken ribs and a dislocated shoulder after an exuberant four year old had a bucking session.. He spent a week in hospital and is now slowly mending.
Just goes to show no matter how secure your seat is an accident can happen. (I bet he wasn't wearing his hat either!)

Yep, poor Peter isn't having a good time atm.

I heard he lost his lovely horse Gambrinus the other day.

Don't know I'm afraid.

It was at the EADG demo that he did on Sat night.
He just said that he sadly lost Gambrinus in his stable, I think he said 'last night', so that would be Friday.

He then changed the subject and carried on with the demo.

So possibly colic, or did I dream it, or has he had laminitis? I know latterly he had had lameness issues.

It H&H today it says that Gambrinus died in his sleep - vets suspect a haemorrhage. Very sad - he was only 15, but hopefully he didn't suffer in any way.

Many condolances to Peter and to everyone connected with Gambrinus.
