Poor puppy riddled with worms .... help!

Someone dumped a small puppy at work yesterday. I was looking out for a new dog so home he came with me. He's in a right state and as well as a good dose of Mange he has a huge worm burden. I wormed him last night with puppy Panacur (one of a three day treatment dose) but would like to know when the worms will start to die as they were very much alive and wriggling this morning in his poop - yuck!
Would I have been better to use Drondal Plus (but don't want to overdose him) ??
He's off to the vet tomorrow for his mange treatment so could buy some then ?
Advice please doggy folk !
 

When i bought Lexi home at seven weeks old she had a big wormy belly, took her to the vets the following week to have her jabs and get her wormed, i was also given Panacur and more or less as soon as the 3rd day dosage has been given i begain to notice dead worms, and lots of them, and they kept coming for about a week.
Funny thing is the breeder said she had wormed her a week before i fetched her home.

I use it for all our rescue puppies...its a very good wormer....they are coming out....its doing its job...so dont worry...he sounds well riddled.
Ask your vet tomorrow if you have any concerns.....but I recommend it...its very good.
 
Poor pub, at least they are working, had the same with my recent pup and havent been able to fancy a chinese since!
