I really have messed his head up!

having him shod yesterday, he just flipped half way through and behaved like I've never seen him before. He was just rearing and causing havoc - as if someone was trying to kill him!

Got him out on a ride tonight and had to get off down a track as ther were a few stones (and he was struggling without backs) tried to get back on and he got in a real state again.

I feel awful for sending him away on loan (even if it was only a week

)

He was a gem out on the hack though and when Oscar saw him, they didn't even whinny so hopefully the bond is truely broken already!

Oh dear,am sure things will come right,he will calm down,obviously had alot happen in short space of time!Least he was good on the hack

I have a tb and take backs off every winter and never have a problem,if he has good horn growth the soles will harden

,obviously stony tracks will always be an issue,is to mine in front with bloody shoes on,lol
