Hi all,
I have booked into our vets with Salem my moggy, but I was wondering if anyone could shed any light to stop me worrying til appointment time¡K
This morning we noticed he was shaking his head a lot and scratching his left ear. What was more worrying was the fact he wouldnt let me touch it and normally I get yowled at if I wont scratch every bit of him! I was thinking maybe its an ear infection/something lodged in there? If its the same as horses that is¡K head shaking is usually something to do with ears
It confuses me because he is an indoor cat because he is FIV+ (and hes a sandwich short of a picnic lol) also I have never had him injected and now im worrying that I should have but I thought cos he was inside he wouldnt pick anything up (yes im a bad person) wondering if he could pick something up at the vets cos he isn¡¦t protected?
Sorry if im waffling but hes never been sick or sorry, and all our old cats never went to the vets apart from to be PTS
