Poorly JRT

Our little JRT has been at the vets today having x-rays, he has several problems, but the x-rays have shown up he has thickend intestines, this can either be inflammatory bowel disease or lymphoma. He is on antibiotics for two weeks then we have to decide if we are prepared for him to have chemo before any other investigations are carried out. So has anyone been down this route, chemo that is, he is 11yrs and as I say dose have other proplems.

Sorry I have no advice to offer but just wanted to say I hope it turns out to be the lesser of two evils for him.

Thanks Mattilda, he is not a happy bunny at the moment, so we hope the antibiotics help which will be a good sign.

Poor little man - fingers crossed it is the lesser one, as I'm sure treatment for lymhoma would be more debilitating in an older dog.
