Hi everyone, I've been reading up on your reports of the event. I am on the organising committee and am going to take all of your comments back to our post-event meeting.

HollyJane, I hope your boy is OK, I kept hearing bits over my radio!

If anyone else has any comments and didn't fill in a questionnaire, please let me know cos they will go straight back to the people who can try and make a difference!

I didn't fill out a questionnaire but as I said in my report it was a fantastic event with the nicest helpers I've come across in 8 seasons of BE. Glad you had a good turnout in the car parks, although unfortunate that some people had to be reminded that it was very hot for their dogs. The ground was tremendous, you had a lovely atmosphere in the trade stand area, although can you put out more bins for people's litter next time! Wish all events were this good, thanks again.

Hi - he is fine thank you for asking

Only thing I would say is that I would have of liked the lady in front of me to have been maybe pulled up a little earlier. As a jump judge shouted out I was catching her 4 fences before she was stopped.

But apart from that - I think the event was run very well with friendly people and the ground was lovely!!

lovely event very friendly and well prepared. Only gripe was no toilets any where near us in the lorry park, for that last minute wee when changing!

Everything else was great!

Just thought had another problem too. Was got by a random passport inspection. Just returned from XC and horse covered in water with a cold wind blowing, daughter gone to have a pee and 3 people asking to see the horses passports!, talk about bad timing, i told them they would have to come back. It's all very well checking passports but they didn't even check the horse against the sketch, they could have been anyones passports.

tigers-eye, it was me and my mum that saw the dogs in the cars while going back to our car for drinks, we told the judges about them so it would go on the tannoy and the people didnt come back to take the dogs out!
