Poppet: update

I have spoken to Piggy and Friends this morning and Poppet has had a good night. He is alert and relaxed. His skin already looks better and he is eating, drinking and passing waste. He is no where near out of the woods but at least on the path now.
I visited yesterday and found the little fella delightful, friendly and calm, loves his ears rubbed.

The vets has been fantastic and so have most of the people on this forum. Lets now move on from the RSPCA and look to helping this young pony recover and live a full and active life, if at all possible.

Piggy & Friends has been bowled over by the response to her Face Book page and things are looking good for this chappie. The vets have set up an account for Poppet, in his name. Money paid into this account will be used to support his treatment, wherever that leads. Any surplus will fund other such cases and NOT be avaliable to any individual. This will be looked after by The Brown Bread Charity so that other such cases can be dealt with as well, (fingers crossed there are no more!)

The Vets are Newnham court equine, Maidstone, Kent. I would love to give there number not am not sure that I am allowed!

So glad to hear that he's feeling better, was really worried when I read the first thread.

Any chance of a pic maybe when he's up to a quick photo shoot?

How lucky for him that he was found by people who were kind enough to take him on and let him have a future
