Have posted a few times to get advice on first time hunting (horse and rider) so thanks to all who replied. I'm going out cubbing with the Pentyrch on Saturday - am very excited! Got a bit over enthusiastic on the weekend and bought a lovely new green tweed jacket, with the excuse that I will be showing my horse (a coloured cob) next year so it's a justified purchase.!) but resisted buying a new hat, which took a lot of willpower but don't want to look like I'm wearing all new stuff. Have even convinced another hunting newbie to come with me so we can both look clueless together!
