Poppy and our cat Sox have got quite friendly in the last week or so (P used to chase the poor cat who spent the entire summer sleeping in the hayshed rather than her comfy bed in the kitchen), and I was able to take some pics today with the new camera...

One of the cats at work tries to play with the GSD, she gets a bit squashed sometimes.

I was lucky.

Bought the rug on Wednesday afternoon, snowed on Thursday, so I as sooo glad I had bought it.

It was wet tonight at horses coming in time, and she wasn't impressed at all having to come out with us. The cat likes the rain more than P does.

All my cats (I have seven) tolerate the dogs now but some of them think the dogs are play things.

But they like to sleep together

Sooo sweet!! Our senior cat rubs up against P like that, she is so large she nearly pushes P over. They don't sleep together (yet) though. They have a little seperate bed each.

Such cute pictures. What kind of terrier is Poppy? Her adorable ears are throwing my JRT guess somewhat.

She is a JRT - some (well over here anyway) seem to have floppy 'down' ears and some have 'up' bat ears. Hers were down as a pup then went up in the space of a week - v bizarre.
Its the colour that throws most people - they think she is a chihuawa (like come on - she is missing the bulbous popping eyes) or a v small yellow Lab!!!

P actually needs a good thump. She is respectful of our senior cat, because Katie will biff her, but Sox the black one is too gentle, and Poppy plays very rough sometimes. Being a cat though, she just jumps up when she had had enough!!
