So technically it's not her first Xmas but decided against the tree last year due to the tornado that she is :eek3:

As husband sulked about no tree I decided to surprise him and put it up this year...

Poppy spent the first hour terrified of it, then took a shine to this little decoration. They were left a couple of hours and she didn't touch it. Walked them, made a cup of tea and came back to this... She's so bad :biggrin3:

We have traded in a 6ft real tree standing on the floor for a 3ft pretend tree which sits on the sideboard due to the terrierist that is Archie :) He is on his third Xmas with us and there is no sign of the tree coming back down to earth! Mind you, Alfie springer, who is 5, is not entirely blameless, he always makes a bid for the chocolate money. Only Coco, who is our 6 yr old springer can be trusted. PS Poppy is getting even more adorable as she gets older x

She's such a lovely little dog. I lost my horse last week unexpectedly and although the dogs aren't allowed in the bedroom usually, she just laid there watching me. They're such clever animals.

I whole heartedly agree Carefreegirl. But how do these precious little individuals know? is it their extra senses? What a delightful little darling she is. That face makes me smile every time....so lovely.
