Ok ladies so which one of you will be slipping the bridle off first???

I think we need a little points system going on here (Pebblemania is familiar with these).

I think I may need to work a little more on my two, although thinking about it, out of my two, I'm putting bets on Mr M, the thought of doing it with The Crab is making me 'crab myself' *sniggers...snort* sorry couldn't resist slipping that one in.

So are we up for the task?

Bless the poor fella....actually- when I was concentrating on what he was saying...rather than drooling and looking like a mentalist.......I picked up loads of tips... horse was a bit confused......''you want me to do what with my neck!!??''

Needs a *tad* more work......

Yes he was very good *coughs* I picked up lots of tips too (no seriously) which I was trying to practice last night, in a field, in the dark, again horse was a bit confused but then it doesn't take much :D

On a serious note, it was interesting and good value for money too, I mean a fiver, for a few hours watching a handsome man talk about horses all night!!!

sorry sorry, I'll behave, going back to being serious again, although most of it was touch base stuff, it made you open your eyes more (no...not that:rolleyes:) and think out of the box a little too, as it’s the little things that are the building blocks for a good working relationship with our horses and it's we all need a little reminder of this from time to time as it's easy to get lost in all the other things we try to cram in and concentrate on. :)
 
Yeah....absolutely.....was really impressed. And you do get bogged down with getting them 'working correctly' and what- have- you rather than dealing with the basics...

And didn't his horses really respect him? They really looked to him to keep them safe....he oops, sorry:o *it* was lovely to see....:D

Have you seen his website? Some err....nice pics on there;)
 
well aren't you all dirty minded! I was merely expressing concern for the welfare of his OH!!!!!

before we can have points setting we need target setting in true educational form for example my target is getting pebs used to one handed without veering off never mind taking off the bridle!

still he was quite tasty!!!! :-)

Yes his horses were lovely, I really liked the Welsh cob too, kinda makes you wanna don a pair of cow boy boots and do the whoel western thing lol, our Yorkshire version of Robert Redford with a Aussie twist....what more could you ask for! lol

Ahem. Goal setting.....yep - I'm working on a loose contact without veering off or disappearing out of sight.....setting off on a hack is OK....on the way back-not a chance:eek:

pmsl, you started it...good job me and the others girls were sat between you and poppymoo, poor fella, no wonder he never came up to our end with two dirty mares eyeing him up all night lol

only teasing, we need to arrange another horsey evening, possibly followed by a few drinks me thinks :)

Thing is.....how would you cope if you called him out to help you with your horse?

I wouldn't be able to hold a conversation and look him in the eye:D

Well I might manage but very much doubt you and hot pants up there would! lol

Funny you should say that though, I think we may need some work on loading (no kidding, even Chickeninabun will back me up there;))
 
yeah yeah any excuse kenzo remember I was there too and although patience was required mr m loaded fine!!!! now whose a hot pants!

oh and I would cope just fine with him working with my horse he may just be worried why in the middle of winter I was wearing sunglasses! at least then he'd only see the drool!!!

Indeed but that was going, we did have issues coming home, even Rubysgold (complete with parents) will back me up on that one, anyone would think I was merely making it up *coughs* when in fact all needed was a nice bag of juicy pairs :D

Yes, it was a nice tasty... I mean useful evening! I'd gladly spend a fiver every few weeks to spend a couple of hours watching a tasty cowboy playing horses! Ok, that sounds weirdier typed out than it did in my head!:o

I'd actually be quite up to trying to ditch the bridle, but unfortunately I have no lovely indoor arena to do it in;)! Plus no one to ride with, so might be left crippled in the field for hours before anyone found me!!:rolleyes::D

But yes Kenzo, you could do with a bit of loading help, which I am sure we could all pop round to make sure it's going ok.;)
And I've heard about your problem loaded too Poppymoo, so maybe we'll all get to see Mr Cowboy a couple more times!:D
