I'm getting on a bit & am too creaky to get on from the ground. I'm planning to take my youngster out & about a bit this year & it has occured to me that I need something I can take with me to get on from. I can't be the only old fogey with this problem so how do other people manage?

I bought a set of steps from B & Q, they do the job and are cheaper than buying something from the tack shop.
They also come in handy for hanging rugs on the rug racks and pulling manes etc :).

I bought a tall plastic step (it's like a strong very tall bucket) from Ikea - very light and very cheap at under £5 to mount my 16.3hh.

Loys of good ideas.

LUI23456 - I pinched the crate yesterday morning. Was just hoping nobody needed it. I thought you were so young & agile you wouldn't need anything!
