Hi,
Thought I would post a positive post about my new sharer. Hvaing been very reluctant to get into sharing but finances getting tighter and me being unable to ride during pregnancy convinced me to try. I had no response from adverts other than one complete timewaster and knew if would be hard to find anyone for my boy who is lovely but very much not to everyones taste- he can be lazy and stroppy and very hard work but push the right buttons and he can be a really nice all round fun horse, Most people however just dont get him at all and cant be bothered to find out how he works. Then someone on my yard had a share horse that went lame and started riding my boy and really really clicks with him, and took him on as a share - he really likes her and she likes him and I am so happy how it is working out. He has had a few issues in the past few weeks - gone lame etc but we have worked through it together and all seems fine now. I really trust her with him and he is looking after her so well. thought a good news story might help other people who are in a similar situation

Im glad your having a positive experience.

I too had a positive sharing experience and me and the horses owner got on really well (were still friends now after said horse was PTS about 2 years ago).

I think if you find the right person then it can work really well. :)

That's great!
Maybe you don't hear of more positive stories as it's the "horror ones" that are more "intresting"? Bit like the news, bad things are reported because they don't happen so often?

My sharer is amazing! She has my cob a few days a week so I can concentrate on my TB girly, I wasn't well yesterday so instead of riding she did my stable as well as Olly's.
