Police in the North East have this morning stopped a vehicle containing 15 horses which they suspect may have been stolen in the last 24 hours.
The vehicle is known to have been in Cumbria during this period.
Please check the safety and security of your horses. If you discover any horses missing, please call Liz Godfrey (West Yorkshire Police) on 0113 3970684 immediately
Given the nature of the incident you are asked to check as soon as possible.
