So, does anyone think there would be a market for a small (tiny) equestrian business? Would it be possible to register with a wholesaler, and then sell through facebook, preloved, ebay, etc.? And do you think a wholesaler would agree to sell in such a small way? And do you think I could make a few pounds of this? Just curious for opinions! Expect it's impossible, but hey ho!

If you look at any of the other threads on this I think the consensus tends to be no.

A lot of wholesalers won't deal with members of the public/small orders as it's not worth their while. We even had to get VAT registered to use one wholesaler.

Whether you would make any money depends on whether you have something that people want and are prepared to pay for. We have an online shop (not horsey) and despite having over 200 products, including a couple which are not available anywhere else, it's still very much a part-time thing. Currently it's a lot of work for not much gain but we're hoping it will start to take off soon.

It had better.....

Yeah, I thought it would be unlikely.

If it was to happen, it would be very small, and just an evening type thing, for fun and to make a few extra pennies!
