Possible Husband for my Girl

Smart chap!
Hope they do straws, is there someone you know that could go and see him in the flesh? (Or you could have a wee holiday!)

Friends of mine are over to Germany this week, am really excited about the prospect of the mating.
 
My girl is all american breeding so her parents breeders in america will be helping me out, he has come very highly recommended, but i think he is a carrier for a genetic problem in the breed which may rule him out as i would want one that is tested clear for it.. hence more research!
 
You dont anymore, as far as im aware. I have friends who have used it with most of their recent litters. There used to be a rule saying the bitch had to have had a litter naturally first, but they thankfully have got rid of that, stupid rule!
 
He looks very smart - but of course I would like to see him on the move too :p:) Ooooh basenji puppies, and I remember seeing a post which said you are in north Glos area so about 20 mins away from me :D
 
His movement is amazing. He won best of breed at westminster this year, and they have videos of all the breed judging so i got a good look at him on there - beautiful dog. But still cant find anything on their website about the genetic testing thingy... hmmm...

And yep, im in Tewkesbury! Wont be pups til the end of the year as she wont come into season til sept/oct, but with it being AI i have to start looking now lol
 
I am just near Newent :) But no, I must be realistic, unless I win the lottery and give up work then no way...:( Booo....:(

Basenjis are not for everyone anyway, i know my mum says she could not stand to live with Maya lol. You either love them or hate them i think!

Im sure if all goes to plan and i go get mini-mayas i will be flooding the board with pictures!
