I am sure mods will check how much info I can give??

Currently riding schools and training centres in UK (this has been done already in US) are being emailed by Kevin D. Owen purporting to open a Theme Park and Trail Riding Centre in UK wanting to send 15 students from S.Korea for 3 weeks training. He is asking for a quotation which he presumably asks the students to pay up front. Most of the wording in the email is the same as the US version except his birthdate changes. He says he's working on an oil rig off Dubai!

Google his name for more info but do not get involved.

Anyone know who this should be reported to??

Scams of this nature are notorious- the premise is always the same. Someone emails asking for money for some out of this world opportunity, or asks requesting a number of personal details.

The best thing you can do is ignore it and make sure people you know are aware that they too should ignore it.

I wouldn't worry too much about people falling for this one, it's obviously a scam and the English is awful. Last time I saw this email it was 7 students from Korea, absolute beginners who needed 2 or 3 hour lessons a day for three weeks! Now, what if I charged them £500 each a lesson...hmmm..?
