Right, first things first I've been looking at buying a 16.3 tb gelding that we've had on the yard for a little while now, but someone looked at his passport for me today and I'm a little confused?? Friend said that he is by Baron B, out of Nottage Trinket...can't really find much on either on the internet although I think I've heard of Baron B. Also said that Dutch Gold is in his pedigree. Anyone any info on any of these lot? (Obv Dutch Gold is very well known and would account for his floaty trot!)

The reason I'm confused is that another friend bought a different horse from the same yard (15.2 WB bay gelding) and is sure that the passport that my friend looked at is her horses?? Now, Dutch Gold was 3/4 TB, so I automatically would have thought the passport belonged to the TB gelding?? Anyone shed any light on any of these horses?

Thanks!

Also, meant to say TB gelding has P2P'd and is called Nottage Meyrick..apparently he has an appalling record but again - couldnt find it!

Right, been on Weatherbys and N Meyrick is by Baron B Vlll out of Nottage Trinket.

N Trinkett is by Dutch Gold out of N Madrigal. After that the line is unknown so they were only registered in the Non Thoroughbred Register (anything with Vlll after the name is on the NTR)

There were also N Polka Dot by Extra out of N Sonnett. She has one registered foal, 98 by Hanoverian Galant Vlll.

Everything with the Nottage prefix seems to have only had one registered foal each.

For racing record try Vicjp, she'll know where to find the p-t-p form.

Thanks guys

Thats interesting about the Nottage stud. Think theyre based not too far away from me in S.Wales so might have to contact them to find out more.
