My lovely yearling has a very dodgy looking lump under his armpit/ girth area it's complicated as he had a tic a month ago on his flank which when removed left the same kind of lump as I go on to describe and this took a month to go down and disappear, however to my knowledge he hasn't had a tic in this area.
I describe it as a lump but it's not really its flat and smooth and hairless against the skin only when you run your hand across it can u feel it's raised. Anyway vet was out for vacs so had him look at it as I was wondering if it was possibly a sarcoid - maybe occult- vet was unconcerned and said to contact them if it suddenly became worse/ grew etc but could just be a fly bite and didn't seem keen to do any investigation but did say to put him on an immune supplement as this may help.
So on doing abit of research online and on this forum there are various treatments / herbal supplements people feed. I have found a global herbs immune supplement as well as their sarc ex supplement. What I'm worried about is feeding one of the said supplements and making the problem worse especially if it transpires it isn't a sarcoid.
Any advice greatly appreciated
