Thought Id ride early hopefully before the flags started to appear! Did my usual Saturday morning route, its a nice little hack and only really safe at weekends (bit of a rat run in places) so didnt want to miss it. Met 5 flags, 1 was on the back of a tractor cab and driver almost stopped for me anyway, so no reaction from the boy to that one, 2nd was on a Clio with elderly lady driver, who again slowed right down as she approached me, so again all was well, he was busy gawping at a scarecrow at the time! The next 3 appeared in quite quick succession on the last stretch of road back to the yard which is very twisty and traffic really has no option but to crawl past, nothing ever bothers him on this bit of road 'cos he knows his breakfast is waiting and he's not silly! So all in all, a good choice of time to go out, hopefully will do the same tomorrow, hopefully the flags will all be having a lie in to get over celebrations/drowning of sorrows!! I suppose, like any good racehorse, he is of course used to flags waving at him
