Post hock spavin treatment

Horse has had hock injections and tildren.Now coming back into work.Sound as a pound the other day and had first hack.Vet wants him worked.Now looks a bit stiff.Is it normal to have the horse go a bit backwards occasionally?

Mine had had the exact same treatment. Is he on box rest? That might explain the stiffness. From personal experience of steroid injections I was certainly sore after. My horse didn't show stiffness though. I am now 3 weeks post treatment.

He has about 5 hours turnout a day.Stiffness started after hack.\think, in retrospect hack too soon.

Pretty sure it is is normal but ask your Vet. The idea of exercise is to encourage the bones to fuse.
