Had the little dog done today as he has suddenly started to take an interest in girls and had started leaving the yard to follow dog walkers. The cut is very swollen though. They did warn me but its bigger than I expected. He howled the whole day so after op the nurses let him out for a bit and he ran round too much and irritated it. I'm not overly impressed but as its now puffy is there anything I can do to aid recovery? He has a lovely vest type thing on so we can avoid the dreaded collar, basically a romper suit for dogs.

I just put cold compresses on my dog, I was shocked at the swelling, I think I pmd Cayla because it looked like he still had 2 testicles.

My little terrier looks like he has a much bigger dogs testicles transplanted in!! Currently he is crying in his bed, hoping he will settle again or itll be a long night!

I think he is probabley suffering from the affect of the anasthetic which can make them very unsettled. Diesel was about 18months-2yrs when he was neutered and prior to that had testicles the size of plums and he swelled up to the size of tangerines. I hope that helps put your mind at rest.
