My 18 month lab had a GA today to flush out his ears due to a deep infection.

I'm just slightly concerned about him.

He was woken up at around 1.30 this afternoon, no problems apparently. I collected him at 4pm.
Got home and his back legs were very wobbly, he also wanted a poo.

He has been wanting a poo now for 2 hours, constantly crying and straining and he still isn't walking well.

I called the vet at around 5 to let her know and she wasn't in the slightest bit concerned. Am I being paranoid thinking something isn't right?

When he had his last GA to be castrated he was bounding around like normal very quickly afterwards.

Pheobe had a major operation about two months ago. She was very worrying to look after, and she would do very strange things, i.e. screaming for no apparent reason, but the vet said this was quite normal. I know your dogs had a different type of op, but I do think for a short while even after anaesthetic has worn off they aren't quite themselves. I just kept an eye and recorded what happened if there was any weird behaviour going on. Also, this is just a thought, but don't their ears or something have a bit to do with their balance?? If so, would've thought he's finding it a bit hard to get his balance sorted, with an ear infection.... *speedy recovery vibes to your dog*
