If its a company they usually have a fixed postage cost.
So better to do a big orde.
If its a private seller, then costs from the Royal mail have increases a lot.
For a second class parcel that doesn't for through a letter box its over £5
Then there are weight issues too.

I agree with this a lot! I went to post a lightweight rug last week having charged £6 which certainly used to cover it and the cheapest they could do was £13 !! I had to go back to the buyer and refund her the money - the rug was only worth £10!
