Those who've done it, how and with what? Both the rugs I want to do are a dark colour so was thinking white paint in 6" letters but don't want to make a total mess of it. Has anyone used a stencil or is there such a thing as a paint pen that would do the job?

I put my surname on them in large letters. I couldnt find a paint pen but Im sure theyre out there. I like things tidy lol, so I used the ripstop lines as guidelines and a syringe filled with white gloss paint to do the writing with :D
Much faster just slapping it on with a brush but my OCD wouldnt allow it lol

Thanks for those stencils MS

only trouble with post code is if u move you could always put horses freeze mark your home post code so if horse moves yard postcode valid, but if u move house well that's another story.

you can use any paint pray or tin Staples were doing large stencils they are hard plastic have big and small letters and big and small numbers

I put the freezemark of the horse and my mobile number on in foot hight letters.

You can get fabric paint for painting on dark colours from your local craft shop. Paint it on, and fix it using an iron over a towel.
