she's the wee filly right at the bottom of that link

Haigrie is her name

opinions wanted please (probibly a bad time of day when i posted yesterday)

Aww she's really cute!! Looks slightly bum high but think it's the angle of the pic and she'll probably fill out and look better as she matures

I think she looks cute...if in doubt buy her! That's how I've ended up with so many horses, and don't regret a single one! Good luck

Sorry - this probably won't be what you want to hear, but please don't get a shetland as a companion for Abby if that is your plan. Shetlands don't make good companions for big TBs, as they must be on seriously restricted grazing as they are so prone to laminitis. I bought two mini ponies a year ago and one had lamintis when he arrived, despite our best efforts 5 months later he had to be PTS. The one I have left is on a very poor small patch of grass in the day and in at night. They literally do well on fresh air. IMHO you would be much better off with a bigger horse/pony as Abby's friend.

its not just to be a companion we have been looking to buy a shetland for years, for showing breeding and possibly driving, after having a very overweight highland i'm quite knowledgeable about laminitus

maybe ur right bad idea
