Hi all

I’m going to put my Albion K2 gp saddle up for sale as I never use it I hack in my dressage saddle due to dodgy knees ?
What’s the best method of posting when sold please and costs?
It’s worth around £650 so would want insurance too

thanks very much x

Parcelforce. It has end to end tracking with a signature. I think it covers up to £500 but then you can pay a little extra to get more cover ?

Parcel force and take it to the post office, you get a recipt saying how much the box weighs. (So you can’t get scammed by the reciever saying you sent them a brick.)

take 101 photos of the saddle before you send it off. Film the saddle as it goes into the box. If it has a serial/model number stamped on it, send this via eBay/PayPal/preloved messages to the recipient. (If they then try and send you the saddle back and send something old and knackered you will have some form of proof it’s not the same one.)

Direct Courier Solutions have a specialist saddle department and will collect it from your house. I've used then without issue a few times. (Went through 7 saddles in the first 18m of owning my mare until we found one she was happy with! ?)
