Posting pics

As a recent new poster I am learning the ropes but how does one post pics on this forum please? Please bear in mind that I am blonde and not super technologically minded so simple explanations please!

Oh and smilies. What gets what please? I can do

You need Photobucket. Faracat has the instructions in her signature. As to smilies, they should appear to the right when you are writing your post - try clicking on the Go Advanced button.

Thanks. I had to give up with photobucket some time ago as I was in danger of killing my computer as it kept crashing. Does anyone on here imageshack?
