In a news letter from the FHAGBI..

In the past few months the popularity of friesians in the uk has soared and there has been an ever increasing number of friesian horses available for purchase.
-However, FHAGBIis recieving a concerning amount of correspondense -regarding problems with friesian horses purchased in the uk including...
-Sold as fully registered when not
-registered with a spurious organisation
-issued with a non-legal passport by a spurious organisation
-Microchip numbers not matching paperwork
-Horses being imported without passports and export certificates
-Horses with KFPS passports but no registration certs
-Being advertised as suitable for a novice when barely backed and NOT a novice ride
-Anumber of horses failing pre purchase veterinary examinations
-Horses with sweet-itch / joint problems being sold as sound.

Thought id warm on the forums as i know they are becoming more popular.

I have personal experience of such a problem, fairly recently! Wasn't my horse though, but we were looking after it!
