I have 2 horses to choose from.
One 4yo traditional coloured gelding and a 3yo cob type but clipped out mare and cloured.
Love them both! THe 3yo is much better marked and flashier than the 4yo but one big thing that s putting me off is her neck. I know for a 3yo an underdeveloped neck is normal but i feel its quite short considering shes 15hh, therefore would it be unlikely to acheve a good and correct round shape? Also the 4yo traditional, how do judgs like these to move. I have never watched a traditional class so wouldnt know. Any help would be greatly appriciated!

Personally I'd base my decision on temperment rather than looks. Is there a dramatic price difference between them or is there one that you are more drawn to? By the sounds of it, it sounds like you prefer the gelding. Correct me if I'm wrong!

BOth their tempraments are exactly the same! Quiet, laid back im suprised they can stand up! LOL! The gelding is priced at about £500 more than the mare. The gelding rode nicer obviously because its a year older and has been ridden by all sorts of people (the place is a riding school) but he is a nice forward going ride. He has quite short choppy movement but got a few strides when on a circle where he opened up more hence i dont knnow what judges look for them to move. The 3yo has bigger and loose movement but i dont know whether the neck will limit her confo marks and her flatwork. Arghhhh wish i had someone to tell me what it would be like if i bought them each in the future!
