Hello :)

New job means I'll potentially be moving to Chichester (or surrounding areas within about 10/15 miles) in the next few months and I don't really know the area. I have a fairly small budget for the new house so wondered if anyone could suggested some suitable horsey areas that I could consider?

Also I'll be looking for grass livery or assisted DIY with a floodlit school and some good hacking, when the time comes to move my horse, so if anyone could suggested any suitable yards, that would be extremely helpful.

Thanks in advance for any information - I'm having a bit of a stress today about trying to find somewhere suitable for both me and the pony!

I’m about 10 miles East of Chichester. I don’t really know any yards that wayexcept Boxgrove stables where they hold a fair few dressage comps. I would ask and look on Facebook groups such as West Sussex riders, livery and grazing London and South-East, Anything horsey Sussex, Sussex horse market, Sussex horse store, West Sussex equestrian grapevine.

Rogate & District Riding Club I think are your most local.

The traffic around Chichester and on the A27 can be pretty horrific so factor that in when looking for somewhere to live and keep the horse.
