Hi all! I went to look at a horse today, 7 y/o ISH. Very sweet on the ground, more of a project ridden as i think he's just been hunted and jumped in Ireland so he's mostly speed and not much substance schooling wise!. He does feel safe though, and pretty trainable. One thing that concerned me a bit were his front feet, long toes and under-run heels :/ Just wondered what people's opinions are on whether this is a big issue, or they would come right with the right diet, trim etc.

Photo of front feet (backs look ok) Also general conformation shot for any other critique!

Just debating whether to go back for a second viewing.

Thanks!

I definitely would but he's had a family bereavement so is un-contactable at the moment sadly. I've had a few friends look at the pictures and most are saying steer clear and that's kind of what my gut feeling is saying

I bought a horse with this issue - steep learning curve. Eventually took her barefoot - made a huge difference but her flat thin soles led to her going back in fronts. It’s a constant niggle but I now have a good regime for her and her feet look good and she’s sound. A very good farrier essential- I had to change mine for her.
