My mare suffers from terrible pain when she is in season. The vets that are taking care of her have suggested as a final last ditch attempt to convince the insurance that her problems are not behavioural have asked me to get evidence.

Now I have video of her dressaging when she is on Regumate, I have video of her when she is in season and when she is out of season, and the difference is pretty marked. I also have statements from my yard manager and my friend that excercises her on a sunday for me ( and possibly one from my RI).... is there anything else that I could possibly need to gather.

I just have this funny feeling that I am missing something and I can't think what on earth it could be

Have you asked the insurance company what sort of evidence they want ? if you do it this way, you can go away and work on getting clear evidence that they will accept.

Keep a diary hun, with dated photos and co-signed on each page by a reputable person or the person who has trained or ridden her that day. You should see a marked pattern that will coincide with the mare's seasons. You might also be able to see if any other factor is contributing to her cyclical misery x
