potential yard theft...cambridgeshire

just a word of warning, may be nothing but would rather make people aware, that on 10th January at around 5.30am, in the whittlesey area near peterborough, a livery was attending to her horse and 2 suspicious men ran out of the darkness and towards the front gates where a van was waiting for them.

diesal from a farm vehicle was stolen, but we think they got to disturbed to take anything further.

just thought its worth mentioning as anyone in the area should be on alert.

i disturbed a white van last night up at our grazing (Eye) & they drove off sharpish.

yes white type transit, unfortunatley none of us got the number plate on it, so cant help there, but your quite close to us, so maybe we all need to keep our eyes open!

i reported mine to law & got incident number, gave a good description of van & occupants but couldnt get number as just too filthy to read in street lighting glow.

not so cocky now but last night i thought they were flytipping so gave them a right mouthful! OOPS.
