Due to adverse weather conditions the horses had been in for almost two weeks; being allowed to potter around the yard for half an hour.
The old mare was going crazy as she loves her turn out - Tied her up in the stable as i mucked out with the door open, turned to look at her and she'd undone the knot and walked out the stable! (good job i knew yard gates were shut) So we decided we really should face the icy roads and turn out as the fields had began to thaw.
My lad dragged me up the road! I took the lead rope off as he galloped broncing into the field, nearly slamming into the gate, good job he's ex-polo and good at quick turns. 32yo began galloping, so he thought he'd better catch up so they had a race around the field, both got down and rolled three times, flat out galloped until he realised there was an electric fence; bucked and spun around. Began trotting with his head in the sky and tail swishing -
I swear my 15.2 gelding thinks he's a 17hh stallion!
