Poultice Boots

LOL no the one I had was rubbish however it helped as a second layer! I would put the poultice on then put a couple of carrier bags over it taped up then the boot, of the boot came off the bags generally still were on!

I am very practised lately! I'd recommend usual animalintex and vetwrap then strong plastic feed bags (i used fluid bags from vets I work at but guess hard to get??). Next I put a square cut from a piece of old new zealand rug that was knackered- very hard to wear thru!- then duck tape over all of the above- several layers! Kept it on in field for 2 days at a time including walking up stone track so should work!!

Yes this!

Used them... and always ended up either lost in the stable or if ive had to turn out then it got lost in the field!

I use nappies instead of animalintex... works exactly the same but does up aroung the hoof so so so much easier! then duct tape over the top and voila! Ive never had one of these come off! even withstood turnout and a stony path! :D
