Poultice

ok.. vet been out today and horse needs to have her foot poulticed, ahyway, was given a poltice boot.. so do i put the dressing on the foot then put the boot on, or do i put the dressing on, bandage the foot then put the boot on

stupid question but i'm sure you will give me the correct answer

i would poultice , bandage then put the boot on, then everything will be more secure and more likely to stay on

my vet came and poulticed my little man and used nappies, newborn ones and they are so easy to put on. It was a really great tip.

I'm another one who has used nappies. They're great and so much cheaper.

I use nappies for poultices too. Much cheaper than Animalintex or similar. And the newborn ones nowadays are tiny, though I did get some funny looks buying them as I am 50+!

I use nappies too! Looks quite dodgy when I buy them as I look younger than I am.
