Powder based treatment for thrush

One of my liveries had a sample to try. Horse still has thrush but it cleared his mud fever :D

I prefer Red Horse products myself or sudocrem

I use blue spray, and i mean BLUE not purple (try cyclo spray by Virbac). It's mostly for foot rot in sheep but works wonders. I pick the feet out really well, if you can wash and dry do this but if you can't dry them just pick out the feet and spray liberally. Do this for a few days and it soon clears up.

Either the blue spray as Ella19 says or garden lime in an old sock, Just knock the sock full of lime onto a clean dry foot. Don't have to use it very often.

I bought some but didn't find it very effective, most of it falls off when you put the hoof down as it doesn't 'stick', I much prefer Red Horse Field Paste.

Oddly enough living out this week seems to have worked wonders, maybe because it's mud in his hooves and no poo/bedding from being in?

Might have to think about getting some sheep foot rot spray as Field Paste is about £16 a pot, it does smell divine though, I could use it as a face mask.
