i have been looking at alternatives to feed my mare and have come across this product and was wondering what it is (i.e. mix or cube) and whether it needs soaking? and also what people experiences with it are? i need a feed that isn't going heat up my mare

It's a cube, A&P advise it to be soaked a bit.

I feed it to my horse who looks really well on it, he is however a laid back type so I don't have the fizzy issue to contend with. For a competition mix I would say it is probably one of the least likely to fizz up your horse, but you probably won't know until you try.
