It makes a change for me to ask a question, rather than give some advice, but a friend is looking for a "powered barrow" to ease the effort of pooh picking. As with all things, she doesnt want to pay an arm and a leg, so has anyone got one/tried one/broken one ? Any tips gratefully accepted..

Many thanks

Hiya, we have just sold ours. In my opinion, it is much easier to use a push along barrow, The powered barrow can't handle mud, makes a mess of the paddocks, and it has to be locked away at the risk of being pinched.
So by the time you have unlocked it, got it out, filled it with fuel, started it, got out into the paddock, you could have already finished with a normal barrow!
Also, ours carried less than a normal barrow too, so more trips to the muck heap.

I really wouldn't bother! Spend the money on paying kids to do it for you by hand instead!!
