PP in new issue of Your Horse

As in title really. PP himself has given an interview on what happened with CatWalk .

One of the questions was 'Why did you feel the need to twitch and hobble the horse?'

The reply was this and I quote

' For those concerned about Catwalk's welfare it's important to know he was examined by an independent vet who gave him a clean bill of health. Furthermore, Catwalk's owner went on to compete with him on Sunday and finished fifth. Catwalk is doing just fine now and we hear great reports about his progress.'

Just ramble, trying to save his a*s, he didn't answer the question, just stress the horse was ok.

Agree with 'he should be an MP' though. He says lots without actually saying much at all

Glad the tide is finally turning.

Contrast that to the Richard Maxwell article about mounting issues.....I followed his advice last night and got my new arab to stand at the mounting block and wait to be mounted in the space of 40mins.....his usual antics of spinning/mini-rearing and me launching myself onboard hopefully are behind us.

I didn't need any bloomin carrot stick either.

Yep. I subscribed to Your Horse ages ago so it gets delivered....doesnt take long to get through really, but that RM article was worth its weight in gold yesterday

Havent read the interview yet but that sample the OP posted really annoyed me. He didnt answer the question at all. What a pointless interview for YH to publish if they didnt actually get any answers to the questions they posed?!
